Post Thumb

The fire resistant doors may have one or two leafs or they can be sliding anti-fire doors. They can be made of metal, wood or aluminum and they can be filled or have a glass. Their purpose is to limit the spread of the fire in the buildings for short periods of time, between 30 and 120 minutes.

Because they are specially designed to resist the action of fire the anti-fire doors are made of sheet applied over a metal frame and interior fittings may have special mineral wool, or type fire resistant drywall. Around the heel is present termoexpandabila seal, which, if fire, ensure tightness between the door leaf and frame it and prevent the spread of smoke in the building.

Usually metal fire resistant doors are full sheet, but they can also be glazed. Please contact us for further details on the technical features!
